02/06/2012 : 14:09

The IEEE International Workshop on Advanced Robotics and its Social Impacts (ARSO) will take place in Munich, Germany, from 21 - 23 May 2012.

ARSO adresses fundamental issues in coexistence of robots and humans and its implications to economic and social systems. Topics range from psychological and philosophical aspects over interaction and communication to technological systems and architectures. Manifold real-world application areas such as rescue, assistance, care, education, or entertainment require cognitive and social skills in order to provide safe, intuitive, and efficient interaction and goal-directed proactive behavior.

The workshop will be held in conjunction with AUTOMATICA 2012.
