Great delight with the team „Jump out of the window“: the three boys from the Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium in Munich won the Robotics competition of Technische Universität München on April 24th, 2010. The cluster of excellence CoTeSys awarded the winning teams with presents.

Pupils from the age 11 to 15 had to master a course with the RCX or NXT Lego robots which they had built themselves before the start of the competition. The challenge at the day was the programming of robots  so that they could go around obstacles, through a tunnel or manage gradients. The robot from the team "Jump out of the window" was not only the fatest robot but also manage to get most points in the course. Second was the team "King Spring", third "Electrotronics". CoTeSys awarded the winning teams with presents.

The cluster of excellence also invited the Timmermann brothers Jonas and Benno – multiple German and world champions in the Junior RoboCup (soccer playing robots) who demonstrated their robots. And who knows if they inspired some of the pupils to become worldchampion one day as well.
