TUM IdeAward: Competition for start-ups

Technische Universität München (TUM), UnternehmerTUM and Zeidler-Forschungs-Stiftung are organizing the inaugural TUM IdeAward for TUM academics.

Technische Universität München (TUM), UnternehmerTUM and Zeidler-Forschungs-Stiftung are organizing the inaugural TUM IdeAward. This annual competition aims to encourage researchers to set up their own innovative and competitive start-up enterprises.

It is open to TUM academics and graduates. Entrants can submit any inventions and technologies with commercial potential which are currently in the form of dissertations, Masters/Bachelor theses or other project work.
The three entrants with the best ideas will receive coaching from TUM’s start-up consultants and UnternehmerTUM as well as financial support endowed by the research foundation Zeidler-Forschungs-Stiftung (1st place: EUR 15,000, 2nd place: EUR 12,500, 3rd place: EUR 10,000).
