CoTeSys once again participated at the Girls' Day 2012 - this time it was all about navigating robots.

How do you feel when an life-sized robot is approaching you and you don't know how it reacts? The seven participating girls in the CoTeSys Girls' Day seminar examined this question.

They carried out a study on "Human-Robot Interaction and robot navigation". This also a research project which is part of the CoTeSys cluster. The girls enjoyed working with the robot very much. One participant even said that after her experiences at the Girls’ Day she is now convinced to study computer sciences or mathematics. We would like to thank Christina Lichtenthäler and her team for their effort!

A prominent visitor also informed herself about the girls' project and CoTeSys: Bernd Sibler, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs came for a visit to Technische Universität München and talked to the participants of several projects of the Girls' Day.
