The open day at campus Garching on October 15th, 2011 offers a colourful program. With other clusters CoTeSys presents the Science Cafe and scientific cabaret.

Together with the other clusters of excellence in Munich: Universe, MAP, NIM and the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences (GSN-LMU) CoTeSys organized the Science Cafe. Scientists will present and discuss their work with the public every half hour. In this relaxing atmosphere the CoTeSys PIs  Prof. Conradt will talk about "Robots and neurosciences: How robots get intelligent" and Prof. Kleinsteuber will present "Data influx and information - challenges for the 21st century".

Furthermore, the cabaret artist Dr. Georg "Grög"! Eggers demonstrates the “physics of failure” with risky live experiments. The program will be
shown in the TUM excellence center, Boltzmannstr. 17, Garching. A detailed program is available here. All presentations will be in German.
